Between 9/8/2006 and 9/11/2006 a soccer field in Inwood Hill Park in Upper Manhattan is being turned into a memorial field honoring the thousands who died on 9/11/2001. Over three thousand flags on ten-foot poles have been planted. They bear the names of the civilians and the rescue workers who were lost.
